In 1974, Glenn Pack began his journey in the HVAC industry as a sheet metal fabricator and installer. In 1985, Glenn was invited to return to UCONN to teach the coursework in heating and air conditioning load calculations and system design until the program ended in 1987. Glenn holds an (S-1) unlimited heating and cooling contractor’s license, an (SM-1) unlimited sheet metal contractor’s license as well as a Westchester County home improvement contractor’s license.
In the late ’90s, Glenn Pack, President of Pack-Timco, Inc. Heating and Cooling, acquired the company and partnered with Frank Bedini who became Vice President. In 2002, Glenn was certified by the Comfort Institute in Basic building science, air balancing, and repairs as well as diagnostic instrument training and certification workshop. Glenn has a wide range of experience over his 44 years in this industry and has been involved in specialized systems such as gun range exhaust systems, tennis court comfort systems to rehabilitation projects for homes over 250 years old.
Currently, Glenn manages the company with his partner, Frank Bedini, and handles the majority of sales and job management for residential and light commercial add-on and replacement systems. Glenn helps troubleshoot existing building system problems as well as indoor air quality. Engineers and building inspectors have invited Glenn to solve complicated indoor air quality concerns over the years.
Co-owner Frank Bedini shares in the management procedures as well as primarily working with builders on new construction jobs and substantial residential projects. From complex heating and cooling conditions with indoor pools, heated driveways, wine cellar systems, and geothermal systems, there is no job too complex.
